Sunrise Community Banks hired EDS Builders to complete
monthly progress site/building inspections and pay applications
for the $1,337,000.00 project.
We review the construction progress to the pay application request to assure the contractor is asking for the correct amount of progress payment.
During the first review there was a change order of
$117,248.00 to the excavator for contaminated soil removal.
During our review we discovered the City of Minneapolis paid
the excavator direct for this charge, saving the Owner over
$117,000.00
During our final inspection, the cap flashing over the EIFS allowed rain to penetrate the building framing.
While completing the site inspections we also check for safety issues and notify the contractor of any safety issues.
